Marist Primary School
is an integrated Roman Catholic school for boys and girls from Year 1
to Year 6. The school is closely associated with the parish of St Mary's, Mount Albert, and
includes children from other parishes.
We celebrate a wide diversity of cultures, with seventeen ethnicities
comprising our school community.
Marist Primary School is a place where the staff, Board of Trustees,
parents/caregivers and children work openly and co-operatively to
achieve the School's mission.
- individual and cultural diversity is
celebrated.
- obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi
are honoured.
- all children are challenged to
achieve personal standards of excellence and to reach their full
potential.
- the dignity, self-esteem and talents
of children are respected and enhanced at all times.
Opportunity for piano and violin tuition is offered,
outside of school hours. We also have a heated swimming pool and
large hall, which facilitate many aspects of the physical education
curriculum.
Our school is staffed with skilled, caring and dedicated teachers and
support staff.
Our Board of Trustees and Parent, Teacher, Friend Association
generously give of their time and abilities
to serve the school community.
