Marist School is a caring and welcoming Catholic primary school

Marist School, Mt Albert is a caring and inclusive community. We have a proud history and tradition imbued with the Spirit of Mary and founded by the Marist Sisters. Marist School was established in 1927 and we are looking forward to celebrating our centenary in 2027.

We are a culturally diverse school with a roll of approximately 330, serving children from School Entry to Year 6. With our central Auckland location and easy motorway access, our school attracts students from a wide geographic catchment. Our Marist whānau are connected and welcoming.

Marist School’s teaching and learning occurs in an Innovative Learning Environment (ILE) and we are committed to educating the whole child (spiritually, intellectually, morally, emotionally, physically & socially). We recognise each child’s unique gifts and talents. We deliver an engaging and innovative curriculum that empowers faith-filled, confident and creative learners.

Set amidst well-established residential areas at the base of Mt. Albert, our school has long been at the heart of Mt Albert’s Catholic and wider community. Our school is located next door to both Marist College and St. Mary’s Church.
